Topics of the summer school:
The aim of this summer school is to support the participants in their first steps of micrometeorological measurements and data analysis via small group project works. Priority will be given to applicants who have at least general meteorological knowledge and deal with applied micrometeorological issues (urban and/or rural climate, environmental problems, agronomy, forestry, special microclimatological measurements, etc.) requiring field measurements.
The summer school includes hands-on work on the following topics:
- planning the short-term micrometeorological project and measurement program,
- making the measurements, mapping the environment around your station,
- collecting additional measurements, providing datasets (QC/QA, metadata, etc.),
- preparing short paper and presentation in the mini conference at the end of the training school.
The program also includes lectures and an excursion to micrometeorological field sites.
